PIZZA NOVA RAISES OVER $100K FOR VARIETY VILLAGE DURING THAT’S AMORE PIZZA FOR KIDS DAY

TORONTO, May/11 -Pizza Nova's 18th annual That's Amore Pizza for Kids day that took place on Tuesday May 9th, 2017 raised $105,007 for Variety Village Children's Charity.

On Tuesday May 9th, over 130 Pizza Nova locations served medium pepperoni pizzas for only $4.39, and $1 from every pizza sold was donated to Variety Village. Mayor John Tory also came out on the morning of May 9th to support the event, and even tossed some pizzas with the children of Variety Village.

Thursday, May 11th, Pizza Nova president Domenic Primucci presented Variety Village with the proceeds at a cheque presentation ceremony.

"That's Amore Pizza for Kids wouldn't be possible without the thousands of customers who came out on May 9th to help us make a difference," said Primucci, "With the help of all our supporters, we have raised over $1.4M for Variety Village over the past 18 years."
